Hassle-free landing solutions at Chapelco airport

eduardo-eurnekian-sistemas1Chapelco Airport, near San Martín de los Andes, will be the first airport in Latin America to rely on an approach system guided by satellite-information. This new feature will allow for operations without experiencing problems despite unfavorable weather condition.

The survey for the development and startup of such System is the result of an initiative launched by Corporación América, for which it has invested one million dollars. The company entered into an agreement with MITRE Corporation, a US-based company, to analyze the implementation of advanced navigation systems and the design of the path that will be used by the aircraft satellite navigator.

Snowstorms and clouds that used to hinder operations quite often at the airport will now be something from the past if the suitability and feasibility studies for the implementation of an Advanced Navigation System are positive.  (more…)

“I have a right to go for Telecom”

Eduardo Eurnekian

This is the first time the owner of Corporación América speaks about his offer for the telco company. His partnership with the W and his differences with Clarín. He ensures there is nothing wrong with having the SEC investigate about the transaction. In addition, he says the Government should take a more “drastic” action concerning the operation.

The emotion of having given the keys of the hospital that bears his brother’s name to Governor Daniel Scioli had already gone. Then, just before boarding his private helicopter, Eduardo Eurnekian emphatically said, “The fact that the operation has the necessary blessings for me to get Telecom Italia is just nonsense.
