The businessman Eduardo Eurnekian has confirmed the intention of Governments and private sectors from Argentina and Chile to continue with the so called Central Bi-Oceanic Corridor project. In that sense, the President of Corporación América said that “integration is a dream to turn a split up World into a unit, one’s ideals into the benefit of everybody. This is strategic thinking, exchanging, producing, trading and positioning”
The above statements have been made within the VII Hemispheric Meeting of International Relations Boards framework at which Eduardo Eurnekian closed the third day of the event being held at Sheraton Park Tower Hotel until the 30th April.
The core topics of the presentation by the renown Argentine businessman were integration of countries, globalization through investment, links between Argentina and Chile and his view for the future regarding the neighbor country and the Bi-Oceanic Corridor linking us with them
Within the context given by the members of a society interested in the past, present and future of international relations, Eduardo Eurnekian explained on his conviction of working on the most ambitious projects. “Knowledge is the bond between fantasy and reality”
“Following World War II, regional integration brought about the elimination of conflict scenarios of the countries making up the region and Chile and our country are a clear example of this. We share one of the longest borders in the world -5,150 km– and we have always resolved any differences looking to the future and in a pacific way (…) Both countries have declared through their Parliaments –with legal enforcement- the decision of facing construction of this Central Bi-Oceanic Corridor as an strategic priority using their respective railways towards the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans””, he explained.
